Thanks for your reply Yoav,

Oops, I missed the section on how to specify credentials. How would I do that
with encrypted passwords?

I looked at using 2.3.3.1 but couldn't find a way to not show the Pro Add-ons
section on the Welcome screen. Is there a way to not display that section?

Have you specified credentials as part of the mdns REST request?

Get effective permissions is not part of the current REST API, but that's a
nice idea for addition so we will create an issue for this.

Yoav

PS. I would suggest migrating to 2.3.3.x instead of 2.3.2

Hello,

We're migrating to Artifactory v2.3.2, and would like to produce a report on
what effective permissions a given artifact or folder has. Is there a REST
command I can use in a browser that can show this? LDAP is setup with anonymous
access disabled and password encryption required. I tried using the Rest
command to retrieve Item Metadata Names on an artifact with access controlled
by a permission target but got a response the artifact is not available (I
copied the {repo-key}/{itemPath} from the tree browser after logging in). I
didn't see a REST command to list effective permissions from:

http://wiki.jfrog.org/confluence/display/RTF/Artifactory%27s+REST+API
<http://wiki.jfrog.org/confluence/display/RTF/Artifactory%27s+REST+API>

Artifact I was trying to get metadata names for:

http://xxx.xxx.xxx/artifactory/api/storage/xxx-thirdparty-jars/com/zzzz/yyy/mysdk/6.1.3/mysdk-6.1.3.jar?mdns

Response:
