Hey Noam

Thank you so much for the quick answer, you've definitely helped. I'll take a
look at that soon.

Cheers, Amit.

Almost forgot another option which is little more menial and not as efficient
as the replication but can still be automated.
Using Artifactory's REST API, you can query your remote instance every once in
a while for a list of artifacts that were created within a certain date range ,
retrieve the file info of every result and download the artifact using download
URL found within the file info.
Though unlike the Replication add-on, this method will require more work in
order to handle item metadata and clean up deleted files and folders.

Hi Amit,

Your best option is to utilize the Replication add-on, it provides push and
pull repository replication capabilities.
Both methods can be configured as scheduled tasks and the pull replication can
also be invoked via a REST command.
See:

    • As scheduled task:

    • REST API:

Hello all.

First of all thank you for making Artifactory, it's really great and easy to
use !!

Now to my situation, I'm setting now a remote Artifactory, that resides on
our remote server, this works quite well. Now I would like to have an
identical repository locally so that development work should not stop in
case our interrnet connection temporarily fails. And I would like to do it
ofcourse without having to insert all artifacts again, or the keep the
synchronization manually. Do you know of any nice solution for this feature?
Except for manually exporting, copying and importing the whole this every
once in a while?

Thanks ahead,

Amit.
