Hi,

For a project I'm working on I tried to add the maven repo
http://www.ettrema.com/maven2 to Artifactory to proxy it. It is only
accessible via webdav and does not publish an index. Unfortunately it does
not seem to work.

I've tried to find an answer for this problem, but so far all I could find
is that artifactory supports being accessed via webdav. I've also tried it
with a clean download of the latest artifactory 2.3.4 OSS and just adding
the above repo. If I click test in the Add Repository dialog I already get a
message it does not work. I've tried to see if anything was logged, but none
of the files in logs even contained a mention of the test being executed.

What does work is add it as a direct repo to the pom.xml. (And not
configuring my local repo to mirror everything in settings.xml.)

Does anyone here know if artifactory supports this kind of maven repos?
Could it be I forgot to check a specific setting? Or is it maybe a bug in
artifactory?

Kind regards,
Thomas
