Is it possible to make Artifactory generate a POM when you

deploy an artifact via the REST API? I'm able to deploy the artifact, but
no POM is created, possibly because I'm not passing the needed metadata.
When uploading manually via the GUI, Artifactory will generate a POM if you
check the "Also Deploy Jar's Internal POM/Generate Default POM" checkbox --
I'm looking for similar functionality via the REST API.
