Also, when deploying an auto generated POM via the UI, you get the chance to
edit it prior to deployment, since the primal information is simply guessed
and may contain mistakes.
If you still feel this would be useful, you can open a feature request on
our JIRA <https://issues.jfrog.org> for it.
