There are a number of things that could cause this:
- Correct credentials and permissions (may contain spaces?).
- SVN repository names and URLs are case sensitive (common pitfall).
- Incorrect host\domain name.
Have you tried to manually create and commit a tag from the same working
copy that Jenkins uses?
