I've given up on using the artifactory plug-in for now and am instead
letting gradle treat it as a standard ivy / maven repository (which works
great, btw).

Here's a slightly bastardized version, with the relevant bits still working:

https://github.com/johnburbridge/johnburbridge.com/blob/master/build.gradle
 and
https://github.com/johnburbridge/johnburbridge.com/blob/master/apps/build.gradle

The result is a snapshot version stamped artifact, albeit without all of
the nice build details that the artifactory plug-in provides:

http://repo.johnburbridge.net:8081/artifactory/webapp/browserepo.html?pathId=gradle-local%3Acom.johnburbridge%2Fexample

As soon as a new plug-in is released I'll try using it again - it sure
looks cool but I'm done using gradle 1.0-m3. :)

Cheers,
JB
