Hi, Our company is in the process of setting up a pro instance of Artifactory, moving from the free version which has served quite well. One of the restrictions being proposed is that this new instance will not be allowed any connectivity to the internet (even Maven central), unless I can make a good case otherwise.
First, I wonder -- can we realistically complete Maven builds without connectivity to Maven central? Aren't we going to have to do a ton of manual artifact uploading? Also, could anyone explain what steps Artifactory takes to assure the validity of artifacts brought in from remote repositories?
