Hello, We are using Jenkins & Maven to build the artifacts, and Artifactory plugin for Jenkins to upload them to Artifactory. The problem we are facing is that all artifacts are uploaded to Artifactory, even if the JAR content is identical. The expected behavior is that only the artifacts which have been changed would be uploaded. Additional investigation has showed that the checksum of the "identical" artifacts are different. When comparing the content I've found that the only difference is the time-stamp of META-INF directory and time-stamp of MANIFEST.MF Can the time stamp affect the checksum calculation? Shouldn't it be based only on content? Do you have any recommendations how to avoid this problem?
Thank you in advance, Nisan. -- View this message in context: http://forums.jfrog.org/Artifactory-Jenkins-Plugin-checksum-tp7578341.html Sent from the Artifactory - Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites.
