All,
We're currently using Artifactory Pro 2.6.4, and are looking at also managing
some RPM using its YUM repository features. Problem is, I'm not finding much
in the way of documentation/examples on HOW exactly to do this, and what's
there pretty much seems to assume a lot of stuff is set up ahead of time (the
repo within Artifactory, the entries in /etc/yum.repos.d, etc.).
Does anyone have any examples of how to do this? I've seen examples of how to
upload, but big gaps still include:
* Artifactory configuration for a rpm-only repo
* Any commonly used repository layout
* How to integrate the central password mechanism with the yum client itself
* Any other artifactory-specific quirks in the client setup
Any help would be appreciated. My web-fu may just be weak today, but I'm not
seeing a lot of info out there on these fronts.
Thanks in advance
- Don
