Hello JFrog, what is the reason why meta-data (e.g. http://repo.jfrog.org/artifactory/third-party-releases-local/org/apache/jackrabbit/jackra8e/jackrabbit-core-jfrog-2.2.8e.pom:properties) is returned as XML instead JSON? This feels inconsistent to me. When I want to evaluate the content of meta-data after searching for specific artifacts I have to switch to XML parsing. Even if I use the old deprated "Item Metadata Info" REST call the actual meta-data is only encapsulated in JSON but is XML.
I could understand this when at least there would be a DTD or XSD attached to the information, but it seems to be very free-style.
