We are using Artifactory Pro 2.6.5 and are utilizing the export/import REST
api. I noticed that in the GUI, there is an option to exclude content in the
system import and export forms. There is also an excludeContent option or
the export-settings.json for use by the REST api, however there is no
equivalent option for the import-settings.json used by the REST api during
import. As such, we are getting the following stack trace in the
import-export.log because our export excluded content:
2013-01-03 11:00:16,428 [ERROR] (o.a.api.common.BasicStatusHolder:214) Error
occurred during import: Fast fail exception: The selected directory did not
contain any repositories.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Fast fail exception: The selected directory did
not contain any repositories.
at
org.artifactory.api.common.BasicStatusHolder.addError(BasicStatusHolder.java:182)
[artifactory-api-2.6.5.jar:na]
If I run the same import through the GUI and select the "Exclude Content"
checkbox, I don't see that error in the log.
Are there plans to enable this option for import via the REST api?
Thanks,
-Phil
