I'm using Artifactory 2.6.4 and have found a problem with remote repos and
snapshots. I have been publishing snapshot modules (e.g.
org:foo:bar-SNAPSHOT) to a local Ivy repo on one server. I have another
server set up with a remote Ivy repo pointing to it. The problem is that
once I have published a new version of a SNAPSHOT module, I still only ever
get the old, out-of-date version from the remote repo.

I happen to be using Gradle to pull down artifacts from the remote repo and
I'm certain that it's not a Gradle caching issue.

I've tried these things and they don't help me to retrieve up-to-date
snapshots:
 - setting Retrieval Cache Period (Secs) to 0 or 1 in the remote repo
 - zapping caches in the remote repo

These things DO help however they are far from ideal solutions:
 - Ticking the 'do not store artifacts locally' box
 - Manually deleting the snapshot from the cache using the Artifactory UI.

I was wondering if this is a defect or if I'm missing something. I would
have expected snapshots to be updated automatically, or perhaps for there to
be a separate configuration for specifying the cache duration.

Thanks,
Neil
