I'm having trouble starting Artifactory as a Service on a Windows 7 64bits I installed Artifactory to "C:\artifactory\" and am able to run it just fine manually by executing the artifactory.bat file after having set the Xmx to 1g instead of 2g (I'm running with 4g in all only):
set JAVA_OPTIONS=-server -Xms512m -Xmx1g -Xss256k -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m -XX:+UseG1GC When I install the service using installService.bat and try to start it, I receive the return code 4 even when I change the Xmx to 1g in the bat file. I've seen only one other post [1] where this issue was mentioned but it doesn't seem to be applicable to mine as I'm already in 64bits and have installed Artifactory at the root with no spaces in the path.
