At last nights Council Meeting the tax appeals were mentioned during the Work 
Session.
The only thing I caught was that there would be no refund of taxes.

So, if we are done beating the Palace issue let's beat the Tax Appeal issue.

It was commented in a prior post that there have been no new ratables created 
by the 
redevelopment. Not entirely accurate.

There have been no new ratables created that can be attributed to the work of 
Asbury 
Partners or their sub-developers.

All the buildings east of Ocean Ave are now ratables, new to the tax rolls but 
not NEW 
buildings. That is a direct result of the City selling Public Assets.

The question that should come to mind is - Are the assesments appropriate? Too 
low, Too 
high ?

For example, ConHall comes in at about $4.5 Million, the southern most Pavilion 
comes in 
at about $1 Million.
