The biggest question on anyone's mind when they come to a place like
Asbury Park is: Will it be fun? F-U-N!!!! That's what a
beachfront needs to be to attract people of all ages! Fun for
everyone! Look at those interesting structures! Looks like great
fun!

Don't care - not much history here worth saving - furure is far more
important.

> Does it encroach upon reparian lands?

Don't care.

> Will it suvive the climate?

Of course, if there is high end shopping to attract people all
winter (see Pier Village).

> Is it appropriate to the historic district?

Objection: What historic district? Without waiving said objection,
who cares? Let's get on with the future before my kids are
suffereing through this same debate when they are my age.

Yes.

It's there - look in front of the pavillions.

> How does it build upon AP's unique character?

Haven't we been through this before?  AP has no "unique" character;
it is a hodge-podge of other place's architecture. Let's build
whatever we want.

> How will this benefit all of AP?

Wonderful beachfront helps the whole town.

> Will this be a 'high-end' strip mall?

If they are smart enough to see it my way, yes!

> Does it violate the federal standards for National Register sites?

Who cares.

> Does this violate the CAFRA permit?

No and who cares.

> Does it make economic and public policy sense for Asbury Park?

Yes.

Both of course.

Now let's get it built so we can have some FUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!
