Replying to your own posts Mario?
Your TCN envy is palpable.

I'll ignore the silly non-sequitur "envy" comment because I've nothing to
gain or lose.

I'm a disinterested, not uninterested, party trying to make sense of it all.
Inquiring minds want to know. ;-)

Replying to my own posts? Yep, as in following up. I try to avoid cliches
(like the plague lol), but in this case, the devil IS in the details.

Looks like even Art Gallagher doesn't look for the devil in the details,
which is why I wanted to follow up:

"There are two weekly newspapers in Monmouth County that are owned by former
state legislators....

"The Tri-City News on the other hand seems to have found a way to make money
publishing a weekly paper

[Note the dropping of newspaper to paper].

"Publisher Dan Jacobson will not publish any content on the Internet. He's
all about the paper and its advertisers....

"Not only has the Tri-City News been able to make money, it has amazing
power and influence. If you don't believe me just read it. Dan will tell you
how
powerful the paper is in every issue."

A few years back, I would have said "Hear! Hear!" to the "power and
influence" comment. And when I found some great cheerleading for Asbury Park,
I
wanted to forward it to my out-of-town friends, but I couldn't because it
wasn't
on the web. I have generally been able to do so with the Coaster.
