I've received a few emails from people asking me why those on this board have such a hostility toward TCN and seem determined to rain on a very sunny day for the paper. Good neighbors usually revel in one another's success. Another theme was that the detractors on this board seem to be outside of what other folks around the triCity region are saying about the story. That of course came as no surprise. ======================== What comes as no surprise is that you've managed to twist the debate and/or disagreement about 1) the impact of the story, 2) the issue of web vs. no web content, and 3) the difference between a newspaper and an ad paper into an issue of detractors and hostility toward DJ.And you've even introduced the term envy. Those of us who have participated in the discussion here have all expressed a liking for DJ and avoided any ad hominem "personalizing." Regarding those "few emails" you've received. Invite the senders to participate here. If not, can you paste and copy (after removing identifying info) for us so we can understand exactly how they've come to misinterpret our discussions? Best Wishes to DJ and TCN do not preclude our discussing this tempest in a web teapot. ;-) **************New year...new news. Be the first to know what is making headlines.
