It all depends on the quality of the parts metal, delivery time etc.
you can get a good part if you want it, but it takes a long time which
could be ok.
So instead of ordering 100 pieces made here for $3500, he can order
500 for $1750 and even if never had a call - he said he'd just toss
the rest. Nuts right?
Depends. Like producing 10,000 copies of a newspaper. It cost about
the same as proudcing maybe 8500...
Vornardo (see vornado or two guys in wikipedia) made its money by
redeveloping.utilizing many of the two guys stores.
when kmart was tanking, that's when these people were buying he stock
- for the real estate.
