I check in on this list intermittently but, that, sweep-of-the- hand ease with 
which some want to paint bad decisions and the undoing of much of Asbury's 
history and some of its charm is a bit striking and unnerving. It'd be like if 
every significant thing that happened in history, we just said... "ah.. just 
move on...that didn't matter, better things are ahead."

It is malevolent because: 1. it could have been stopped and 2. people who 
decide to chop down mature, healthy trees steeped in history, who don't see the 
value in them and are only looking at some misguided view of dollar signs, are 
people you have to watch out for.
