It's a weird thing the Baronet.

Thinking back since I was around 3 and my parents lived in Wanamassa (that was
around 46 years ago according to the calculator), I never went into the
baronet. Parents never took me, I never went etc etc.

All I remember of it was it being closed or a porn palace as I rode my bike
from Colonial Terrace to my grandmothers or the boardwalk everyday as a kid.

Years and years of nothing.

However, the last makeover provided some glimpse of what might of been.

The best bet someday will be for someone to recreate the "scene" in a new "main
street" - The Baronet Bar/Grill/Theatre, The "new" FastLane, The "new" Stone
Pony, The "new" palace center etc. In a few years we'll be dead and people will
be enjoying themselves at these venues.

The biggest battle with the pony when it was disappearing was not really the
building, but the name. There are some great brand names to stick on t-shirts,
cups and hats.

Maybe the city is trying to get things "cleaned up" before next year's music
tour event.

Paving from Kingsley west would be nice
