Dear sir,
I am currently using LINUX(UBUNTU 11.10).
I have used the latest trunk code using subversion.
I was able to compile the code successfully without any errors
and warnings however during running the command :
/ascend/pygtk/ascdev I encountered following errors in terminal
but application window started and worked but i got following errors in
terminal:
ASCENDLIBRARY = /usr/local/lib/ascend/models FROM default (config.py)
PROGRAM ERROR: Library 'consub3' could not be located (check value of env
var 'CONOPT_PATH' and/or default path '/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib')
PROGRAM ERROR: solvers/conopt/asc_conopt.c:2930:conopt_register: Failed to
load CONOPT
PROGRAM ERROR: ascend/compiler/packages.c:208:package_load: Error importing
external library 'conopt'
PROGRAM ERROR: ascend/solver/solver.c:255:SlvRegisterStandardClients:
Unable to register solver 'conopt' (error 1).
PROGRAM ERROR: solvers/cmslv/cmslv.c:5651:cmslv_register: CONOPT must be
registered before CMSlv
PROGRAM ERROR: ascend/compiler/packages.c:208:package_load: Error importing

PYTHON: SETTING UP SOLVER HOOKS
PYTHON SOLVER HOOKS
On runnig /ascend/tcltk/asc4dev.in I found following errors in terminal and
no window was loaded and the error was as following :
root@arjun-Inspiron-1564:~/ascend# tcltk/asc4dev.in
tcltk/asc4dev.in: 8: @SOURCE_ROOT@/tcltk/interface/ascend4: not found
root@arjun-Inspiron-1564:~/ascend#
