Hi, I want to have replacements/macros that are themselves asciidoc. For example, I want to write: TODO and have it replaced with [red yellow-background]*TODO*
Quotes are substituted before replacements/macros so the quoted AsciiDoc won't get processed, you could expand the AsciiDoc to the output markup e.g.
:replacements.TODO: <strong><span class="red yellow-background">TODO</span></strong> TODO Not ideal because it's backend dependent but it does work. Cheers, Stuart
and to write Button[OK] and have it replaced with *OK* (The purpose of the Button one is to make it easier to replace all Buttons but not all bold items. Eventually it would be nice to have Button items become<guibutton> tags in docbook; but for now just doing the above is sufficient.) Thanks!
