The asciidoc conf files work like CSS, you only need to copy the part
that you want to change, not the whole conf file.  If as I suggested
you copied *only* the [image-blockmacro] section you wouldn't need to
move anything else, and then you would also see changes to all other
parts of the xhtml11.conf when you upgrade your asciidoc.
