To re-confirm, you can't use px. Of course you can report it, but its likely to be considered a feature request rather than a bug since Asciidoc deliberately moved away from px. Of course if you can supply a patch that allows both px and percent to be used it is more likely to be included. Note that the old deprecated form of tables is still available, but since it was before my time with Asciidoc (current tables were introduced in 2008) I'm not sure what their syntax is. It will also give you a deprecation warning and may be removed at some time.
