Hi everyone!
Asciidoc is a superb tool, that I've been using for years. Thanks to the
developers!

Today my asciidoc installation stopped working, with this message:

 FAILED: malformed section entry: template::[paragraph-styles]

Two weeks ago, everything worked fine (I did not use it in the meantime).
Yesterday, I ran a Cygwin update, so my suspicion is that one of the
involved packages has changed and indirectly causes this error.

I rolled back Cygwin's asciidoc by one version, almost the same issue (just
"listdef-bulleted" instead of "paragraph-styles"), so rolled forward again.
I rolled back Cygwin's python by one version, same issue, so rolled forward
again.
I searched the mailing list - some people have encountered similar errors,
but they were trying to use some filters like Latex or source highlighting,
which I am not.
I searched the web for the above error, no hits.
I looked at the occurrences of "template::[paragraph-styles]" in
asciidoc.conf, those look regular to me (and the file is four years old
anyway, and the relevant section looks unchanged compared to the version on
Google Code).
I looked at the code in asciidoc.py that prints this error, it does not
immediately tell me why the error is raised.
So, a new post it is.

Platform: Cygwin 32 bit, running on Windows 7 64 bit.
Command line: asciidoc foo.txt
Input file:

----
== Test

123...
----

The input file itself does not matter, the error is the same for all input
files that I tried (empty, big, small).

Where could I look next?
