I don't think so, perhaps you would be better to make a custom filter that used source-highlight to generate the docbook for the <programlisting> element. That would have the advantage that it would be all the same. But (there is always one isn't there) the highlighting source-highlight provides for docbook is ... erm ... sparing shall we say. Thats why it isn't usually used since the toolchain highlighters are somewhat nicer.
