Hello. I'm starting to learn asciidoc and something about table syntax
puzzles me.

The user guide re tables (http://asciidoc.org/userguide.html#X68) asserts
that "psv and dsv separators are Python regular expressions." Later
(http://asciidoc.org/userguide.html#X84) it says that psv separators are
just the stile characters, and the prefixes like 2.2+^.^ (and hello kitty
yourself!) are "column specifiers". (Which aren't regexes either, or at
least, would match nothing useful.)

I'm just trying to understand why the doc asserts that psv's are regexes.
It's either a mistake or something very profound about tables that I'm not
getting...?
