I've just installed ASPseek version 1.1 and I have the same problem: 
the highlight stops before the first accented letter and the search 
does not take the remaining letters into account. E.g.:

        pérez voir

gives:

...L LA ROCCA Rosa Anna &... See/Voir : FISTOLA Romano & LA ROCCA 
Rosa Anna, pp. 195-226 LAFRANCE J.P.,"le territoire médiatique du 
local", vol. 3 pp. 293-309
        LAFRANCE JP, "Business TV en...
        ...conomiques et flux de données transatlantiques", 499-515 
LEFEBVRE Olivier, "Géopolitique pétrolière et télécommunications" 
vol. 9 pp. 235-255 LEFEBVRE......

"pétrolière" is highlighted "pé" and the letter following "p" is not 
important for the engine: it can be any letter.
