Hi, I am using Wilson Master Pages for the layout of my web app. I created a Layout.ascx file that has the layout defined for all the pages, a left side menu bar that spans the whole length of the page, that has TreeView web control and content part of the page "Main". The Page_Load method of this user control always runs with every page. I am trying to cache this control so that page_load event does not need to run for all the pages. Whenever I add: <%@ OutputCache Duration="300" VaryByParam="None" %> in the user control and then run the project I get an error saying that I need to define Content with ContendID "Main" in the page I am trying to access. If I remove that cache tag, then everything works fine. Can anyone who is familiar with MasterPages please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to cache the usercontrol?
