If u have got ODBC driver installed, then IBMDA400 will NOT be the
provider. For ODBC, you need to create a DSN or a specify ODBC driver in
the connection string.

Install Client Access V5R2 or V5R3 on the Clinet PC(development PC) and try

The OS Version is v5.2 . I have client access ODBC Driver installed
in my PC. I read a sample code in web some where where they say that
all you have to do is to provide the DataSOurce, Provider abd the
UserID and Password.
