With all due respect to hurricane victims and their families, wouldn't it be better
to have people give directly to an appropriate organization, even if the amount is
considerably less than they would spend on a vendor? This business of reaching their
goal "if 1 million people (consumers) would purchase their Ink and Paper supplies
through AccessInk.org" sounds pretty fishy to me. And what is "the suggested donation
amount"?

Forgive me if I sound cynical, but when you'veas many spams and scams as I have--
especially with the word "Jesus"slapped on them, which really makes me mad --you
tend tobe a bit less trusting of some random email from "Reverend Siam Rogers" who
wants you to buy his office supplies for the greater good.

My apologies for continuing this off-topic thread...

I know that this doesn't fit with the guidelines of the group but I thought
that since this is for helping those in need that it would be ok for a one
time post. Plus, I've been a member here for a while and I'm not the type
to just do this kind of thing.

To be blunt, I'm sending this e-mail for a ministry I've been working with
that is trying to raise money for Hurricane Victims. I'm sending the below
Press Release to those that people that I know in a hopes that they will be
able to share it with others that might have an immediate need for ink.

Again, I apologize if this offends anyone. I just have a lot of friends and
family down there that are in serious need of help and very few people have
the discretionary funds to just donate.

Thanks,
Chris
