What kind of test was this? Sounds like a trick question to me,

Thanks. Now I got to know there are so many editors to work for ASP.NET
development. But I had a question in on my technical test asking which
editor doesnot support for the development of ASP.NET application.

www.aspexpress.com has evolved from classic ASP to also suport ASP.NET.
SharpDevelop is an open source editor, becoming a nice free RAD.

Antechinus C# editor could also be useful.
