Yes, select as a copy to clipboard 9all rows all pages) then he should be
given an option to deselect rows (in all pages) and finally he will save the
records back to the database. 

Is it possible?

        Seriously, what exactly does that mean?  "Select" as in copy to
the clipboard, or export to excel, or suddenly display all the data in
the datagrid at once (in "unpaged" form)?
