Arindam,

I use Visual Studio.NET 2003 and it compiles all the code-behind pages into the
.dll file located in the /bin folder. So I never have to upload an "source"
pages.

As far as registering anything, it depends. Are you using any third-party
components? If not, then no. Just ensure that your production server has the
.NET Framework and you should be OK.

Arindam,

I have never used any deployment tool, so I am not familiar with this method.

However, .NET is similar to ASP, PHP and other web app's. Simply FTP your files
to your production server and you should be OK.

Hello Friends,

How the Asp.net application is deployed on the Server.

When we create a setup, it creates following:
setup.exe
.msi
setup.ini

Now How do I deploy my application on server ?

(normal asp, php, html files can be uploaded by using ftp, but in this case how
do i manage ??)

Thanks

Arindam
