Hello Charles,
Your old student Doug Ferrier here (1999). I use the yahoo
account for junk mail. It's been a while since I got back into
programming.
Anyways, I am working on an adult site (a few actually). I am
needing to protect the images from hot linking. With Apache you can
use .htaccess to remove the hot linking which makes life easy. Most
of the adult sites out there are on Apache with PHP or PERL.
However, me knowing ASP well and wanting to use ASP.NET, I want to
use ASP.NET.
I want to know if there is a way to protect the images from hot
linking via ASP.NET code. I cannot install a DLL or programs since I
am not doing the hosting internally. I want to use code or some
method of protecting the images.
If you can solve my problem there is a freebie in it for you.
Thanks
Doug Ferrier, M.S.
