for 50,000 users, write a console or winform exe. The best way to do this,
is to write directly to the /Pickup directory, if your email component can
do this.

Cheers!

Subject: [AspNetAnyQuestionIsOk] Problem while sending mail to 50000+ user

  Hi
  A small question,
I have 50000+ user in my db, every month I want to send them different
type of newsletter depending on their user type (all mails are
personalized). I just want to consult with u, Should I write a web
application for that? Because I am
Worried about the time limit, browser may not be able to hold, till the
time it sends mail to all users, and in between produced an error.

Or its just a stupid idea, then should i write a Desktop application !!!

  Thanks in Advance
  Arindam

  Thanks & Regards
