the problem is likely your connection string. Your application is trying to log in with the ASPNET user which is the default account used by all asp.net applications.
1) make sure your SQL Server installation is to set for SQL Server and Windows Authentication. You can right click on the server in SQL Enterprise Manager and select Properties. The authentication settings are on the Security Tab. 2) set your connection string to use the sa account you have set up.
