Wow, meeting announcements did not go out like they should have, I really
need to get that automated system worked out or figure out how to get
someone else to do these for me :)

WinProTeam Rockville (MD) will have it's bi-monthly meeting tomorrow,
10/5/2005, from 6p-9p. It's the end of our Membership Drive so we're finally
raffling off the Pocket PC. Remember you must be present to win.

This month Jason
<http://codebetter.com/blogs/sahil.malik/default.aspx>Fabritz will be
presenting on Beginning BizTalk 2004:

Do you like XML? Do you like InfoPath? SharePoint? What about BizTalk? In
this presentation, Jason Fabritz from Applied Information Sciences, Inc.
will demonstrate from scratch how you can combine these technologies to
create a basic paperless document workflow engine for your organization.
BizTalk is an impressive .NET based XML document processing and routing
engine. While BizTalk provides this XML processing engine to execute your
business rules, InfoPath provides users with a view into this XML data.
Combine this with SharePoint to serve as your document repository and you
have the beginnings of a powerful document workflow system – some assembly
required.

In this demo, Jason will start at the beginning with the definition of an
XML Schema. Next, he will create an InfoPath template based on this schema
and publish it to a SharePoint document library. From there he will create
and deploy a BizTalk 2004 Orchestration to process XML Data entered by the
user in the document library, leveraging the BizTalk Business Rules Engine
and a custom vocabulary along the way. The result will be a working
demonstration of a BizTalk managed document workflow process.
We'd like to thank Jason's Employer, AIS <http://www.appliedis.com/>, for
sponsoring this month's meeting.
