Heh, heh, heh.  That is a tall order.

We have been hearing this from our childhoods. I wonder who initially
slapped this label on the Assamese - "Assam is the land of lahe, lahe"
and more importantly WHY?
Is this the same as  Barua's 'Hobo Diok" attitude?

It will be interesting to get different views.
