*** Why? What seems to the matter with the one beholden to and
made in the image of the GoI one?
Can you explain?
If something is the matter with it, then how would you go
about getting that something in the middle?
Can we have the benefit of your wisdoms?

This brings us to an important point.
ULFA has been operating like a parallel govt in Assam for decades now, and yet we do not see any benefits. At least, they could have erected the Assam Bangladesh Fence with all the money they got. That would have been like an investment and would come in handy when they get real independence, because then they would not have to worry about infiltrators from Bangladesh anymore. They even did not establish a hospital, school or welfare center for the poor people of Assam.
That is why I was saying that we have in Assam two extremes (govt),
One is Tarun Gogoi (pro GOI) and the other is ULFA (anti GOI).
What we badly need something in the middle for the people which will be pro-Assam.
I think that is what we all need to try.
