Hi Ankur:
A beautiful story (I am assuming it is not a real life story) indeed. I was going to write this even before we talked, honest! I too am a procrastinator and waited until the weekend for this. :)
So here is my opinion on your very eloquently written story:
While I admire your talent as an artist (and a thoughtful writer, as always), I don't think it is a result of "your" being a procrastinator. Even if you help out your wife and be a little more understanding, your talent will not stop there. In fact, if you weren't a procrastinator, you would be painting much more and be gifting us all and make everybody happy. Well, may be that will be another reason (having to gift everyone, that is) for you to be a better procrastinator (for worse). :)
There! Do I sound like I am as organized as Mrs. Joseph or your wife in the story? Please do not take this as one of those gender-biased opinion, it's rather a very unbiased opinion. As I mentioned earlier, I see myself somewhat as a procrastinator, but am always looking forward to rectify it.
I must also admit that the story was so convincing (it sounded so real!) that I too wanted to take advantage of my procrastinated nature and stay away from commenting on it and not be in your bad book. :) But am taking the risk just because you consider me like a big sister and am sure you would like an honest opinion, in any case.
