And all would have been loans--on the back of the Assam's people.People should resist further India's loans.We want to live on our resources' incomes and the Compound interest on what was looted last 60 yrs.
If Guwahati wants to build great ,Guwahati should create its own resources. Same is true if Guwahati wants to wind up/spread out to all of 1947/1826 ASSAM.

3100 crore is about 3/4 billion USD - a huge sum!! Is their any parallel for any other city in India - even Delhi may not have been given such a sum since independence 60 years ago - in total. though I do not have any facts and figures. what will they do with so much money -- fill the pocets of politicians and building contractors?Umesh
