*** That IS the key. We have a good momentum, but it must be 
maintained. Unfortunately we , outside, are not in a good position to 
make that happen. It would be far more effective if our friends in 
Assam take it up.

When I visit I will try to persuade a few friends to write those 
letters. I hope you all can light a fire under the apathetic to 
spring to action.

the phonetics front. The former must be because of their own sense of 
infallibility, the latter because of the poor understanding of the
