In a way it is funny when you are on the other side -- why are so many fighting
to get a job -- when so many in France want to work less (only 35 hours per
week and thus revolting against joining EU's work ethic - 40 is too much for
them).
80,000 Indian students (mostly financed by Indian student loans) in USA are
vying for jobs and visas which seem to be going overseas anyway - except those
which need a human to provide physically - like teaching and massage parlors
and tomato picking and army;-)
any comments?

it is Indioan versus Indian now -- Indian students (of tech) in USA versus
tech companies of Indian origin who recruit only from India. My roommates at
www.gmu.edu are worried sick that Indian companies are cutting out on their
share of H1B visas.

It seems strange that people getting trained in US is not acceptable to US
Senators - why don't they stop international students from coming in to study
at Harvard , MIT etc -- that would be a more effective way of stopping skills
from reach the global poor.
Deming and Juran went all the way to Japan to imrpove their quality
management - so that Japanese became efficient -- US Senators should have
stopped them!!
