The whole difference is with the "a" in the middle. My wife got royally
chastised once by a Namti descendant for pronouncing "Namti" as "Naamoti" (back
in 1978). Guess who the Namti descendant is.
The village in the news - is it pronounced as Nawmati?

At Namti(South of SiVsagar) we play ball with Rebab Tenga in somebody's
Kothiatoli in winter .
Nearby -Amguri, Nazira , Xivxagor- shine like Goldrush new cities.Namti is in

We have no use for Stadia.
Stadia - by the way -are grossly underutilized at all places in Assam where
these have been built during last 20 years.These are White Elephants. They say
this is the picture in all of India-barring Manipur.
