Dilip,

Every thinking Citizen should see the importance. The looming Crisis of the
Digital Divide.
Teachers are vanishing-- it does not pay to teach any more.
Students are not allowed to select teachers.
Teachers are in aware of their inadequate knowledge and lack of initiatives in
a centrally planned curriculum .
Parents guide no more. They only belch out corrupt moneys for "their progeny's
Good!"
Textbooks are printed pages-difficult to change every year. Difficult to
modernize.
We are still battling with "Jadav Chandra's PatiGonit" of1925. Periodic Table
of Mendeleef remains mystery to B.Sc.Hons Chem!

But given Easy access to Internet ,School Districts can serve that district--
their best brains constantly upgrading,FAQing.
And all districts can see better districts' notes/discussions.

Let imagination go.
10 classes 3>10 may vanish.
Colleges/Campus/Univs/Hostels/Transportation/ Lecture halls CAN vanish.

M'da

Mukulda,
You are absolutely right on this one. To spread modern day education to the
remote schools, computer with free broadband connection is the easiest way.
