It could give you some idea about how Americans value technological innovation
and skilled people in emerging economies like India. This case was developed
by Wipro staff and talks about innovations thru CAD and architecture.

Work experience in India is a valued commodity.

Corporate R&D labs used to be the key for companies to create competitive
advantage. But in the 21st century, innovation is moving out of the lab and
across the globe. That's why Harvard Business School professor Alan MacCormack
and his research collaborators believe that a real source of competitive
advantage is skill in managing innovation partnerships.

Working Paper: The "Fees → Savings" Link, or Purchasing
Fifty Pounds of Pasta http://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/5816.html
One recent survey reported that Costco sells to 1 in every 11 people in the
United States and Canada, and warehouse clubs are estimated to be a $120
billion industry today in the United States alone. As a result, many people
have had the experience of entering one of these popular clubs and leaving
hours later with more goods than can fit in their car. One rational reason for
such behavior is that membership clubs do offer lower prices than other
retailers. However, HBS professor Michael Norton and coauthor Leonard Lee
suggest a counterintuitive explanation.

Summing Up: Why Is Succession So Badly Managed?
http://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/5809.html
Online forum now closed. Should CEO succession processes be certified?
Respondents to this month's column agree that CEO succession is badly managed,
perhaps accounting in large part for the fact that few "inside outsiders" ever
make it into the job, despite their often useful qualifications, observes Jim
Heskett. There were many theories about why this is the case as well as
suggestions for how to fix the process.

Stars don't shine alone. As Harvard Business School's Boris Groysberg and
Linda-Eling Lee reveal in new research, it is imperative that top performers as
well as their managers take into account the quality of colleagues. Groysberg
and Lee explain the implications for star mobility and retention in this Q&A
from last spring.
