My email to the Telegraph editor Dear Editor I would like to point out that your publishing of the naked picture of the Adivasi women in the streets of Guwahati was highly deplorable. It clearly shows your lose moral values. That you have decided to publish a picture of a helpless women shows that like the culprits, you are also taking advantage of her helpless situation. Like the guy in the picture clicking with his mobile phone, your journalists and cameraman also fall in the same category. Women have been routinely abused in other parts of mainland India( including gang rape, public stripping and parading ) .. Does any newspaper publish the pictures of the crime? Did you bother asking permission of the victim before publishing the picture? You have displayed that being a non-local paper, you will remain non-local. Jyotirmoy
