Assamese girl shines in UK

 HALEM, Jan 19 – A local girl named Pampi Hazarika has managed to do the nation 
proud by authoring highly rated articles in reputed scientific international 
journals.

Working for her post-doctoral degree in the department of Chemistry and 
Pharmacy in East Angelia University of UK, her UEA team leads the way in ‘crime 
fight’ published by a London newspaper titled ‘Nourish Evening’, which has 
lately received rare reviews.

Of exceptional scholastic merit, Pampi was earlier offered a fellowship by 
Dortmund University of Germany. She completed research on, ‘Bio-functionalised 
gold nano particles : synthesis characterisation and application’. She 
subsequently received another fellowship from the Government of the United 
Kingdom.

Hailing from Biswanath Chariali in Sonitpur district, Pampi was a pupil at the 
Swahid Mukunda Kakati High School. Born to Arpana and T Hazarika, she studied 
at the Cotton College and IIT, Guwahati before embarking on her eventful trip 
to foreign shores.
